Saints Go Pink!
October was filled with lots of activity, including our GO PINK effort to raise funds to donate to the American Cancer Society. Coordinated by the Saints Varsity Cheerleaders, we sold bright pink shirts stating LOSING is not an OPTION with all proceeds going to the fundraising efforts. We also sold pink pom poms, megaphones, and fleur de lis pink ribbon pins. We kicked off our month of fundraising with the Go Pink football game at the beginning of the month, where the cheerleaders donned pink bows, socks and poms and the football team wore pink wrist bands to show their support. The fundraising efforts ended with the Go Pink Volleyball game, which was also Senior Night, against Forest High School. Guess how much money we raised??? A check was awarded during half time on November 4th at the football game against Trinity Christian to the American Cancer Society for $1,500.
A special thanks to our sponsors: Dr. Joe Locker, The Orthopaedic Institute, Luetgert Development Corporation, Hallgren Contractor Corporation, Fairbanks Construction, Ergle Financial Services, C&A Engineers & Surveyor, Clark Eye Care Center, Robert Boissoneault Oncology Institute, Economy Garage Doors, and the Saints Booster Club.
