Senior Moment: April Grace Henry

April Grace Henry - Born: June 21, 1994
How long you attended St. John: Since 10th grade (2 years).
If you could go back to one grade, which one: Why? Kindergarten, naps!
Favorite St. John memory: Being crowned Homecoming Princess.
Favorite Teacher/Class: Why? Mr. Riedel would be my favorite teacher, but Chapel Band is my favorite class.
Future Plans/"Next step": Summer job working as a classroom assistant at my brother's preschool.
How has St. John prepared you for the "next step?" Study skills were enhanced.
Dream occupation: Song writer
Embarrassing moment: Way too many.
Funny Fact: I'm 17 years old and still afraid of being kidnapped at the grocery store.

Senior Moment: Sami Jordan Oliver

Sami Jordan Oliver - Born: August 17, 1993
How long have you attended St. John? 8 years; since 4th grade
If you could go back to one grade, which one:why? Kindergarten because I miss having nap time.
Favorite St. John memory? Senior Homecoming
Favorite teacher/class:why? Mr. Liakos because he always makes me laugh, even when his jokes aren't that funny.
How has St. John prepared you for the next step? The classes and teachers here push you to do and be the best you can be. I also have people who hold me accountable, spiritually, and encouraged me to live up to my fullest potential.
Dream occupation? Medical missionary
Embarrassing moment? Junior year; when Hanna Marcus ripped my shorts playing the powder puff game during Olympiad.
Funny fact? My favorite snack is Cheetos Puffs and mountain dew.

Someone who inspires you? My sister because she always encourages me to do my best and glorify God in everything I do

How long have you attended St. John? 6 years
If you could go back to one grade, which one and why? 7th grade because that's when I met most of my friends.
What is your favorite St. John memory? Going to the Keys for a class trip and being stupid at the hotel with friends.
Who is your favorite teacher or class and why? Mr. Lausier because he made history fun and was always nice and ready to help.
What are your future plans or "next step"? Going to college, getting a job, and eventually moving North.
How has St. John prepared you for the "next step"? I am now ready academically.
What is your dream occupation? Movie Director
What is an embarrassing moment? When everyone gets quite in math during a conversation.
Who is someone that inspires you? Michael Pitt
What are your favorite hobbies and/or sports? Watching movies and listening to music.

Lauren Michelle Morgan - Born: February 26, 1994
How long you have attended St. John: 3rd grade (10 years)
If you could go back to one grade, which one: Why? 6th grade or 10th grade, both were extremely fun and exciting times of my life and St. John made it even better.
Favorite St. John memory: Lisette and I having "Best friend day."
Favorite Teacher/Class: Why? Mrs. Hossler and Mr. Heath, both of these teachers are passionate about what they teach, are great people, and have a heart for kids.
Future Plans/"Next step": College
How St. John has prepared you for the "next step?" With real life experiences and great education and also the teachers.
Dream occupation: Pediatric Doctor (Medical Missionary)
Embarrassing moment: I don't get embarrassed, ever.
Funny fact: I'm funny.

Celebrating our SAINTS Seniors... Senior Moment

The end of the school year is coming up and to commemorate the Senior Class of 2012, each individual senior will be featured on our blog every week. Many of these seniors have attended St. John Lutheran for years, while some only for a few, but each one has made a mark on St. John Lutheran.
